Crime Scene Investigation
Lesson: Science
Class: Year 4 Year: 2019 - 2020
Today, Year 4 became detectives and worked alongside Mr Ryan to solve the crime of Miss Wainwright's stolen chocolates!
During worship, someone in school had snuck into the Year 4 classroom and taken the box of Celebrations. The children learnt how to look for clues and evidence in a crime scene. Using their investigative skills they were able to establish three suspects; Mr Clare, Mrs Dowd and Miss Mcmenamy. They then practiced taking eachothers fingerprints and were able to match the finger prints left at the crime scene to Miss Mcmenamy's!
The children also learnt all about the police force and crime scene investigators. They even got to try on some of the police uniform!
Thank you to Mr Ryan for such an interesting morning and well done Year 4 for cracking the case!
